Basic Sailing
Atlantic Yachting's Basic Sailing course is a comprehensive preparation for a lifetime of sailing. If you've never sailed, have limited sailing experience or haven't sailed in a long time, our basic sailing course gives you the skills and confidence to take the helm. With an emphasis on practical training through experience, you will learn all the essentials of sailing quickly and more thoroughly than you thought possible. You will be at the helm on the morning of your first class, and in command of the boat through all of the fundamental maneuvers by the next afternoon.2 Day Weekend Course
Our weekend lessons meet Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. There is a break in the middle of the day for lunch

Successful Completion Prepares You To
• Skipper: 18' - 27' boats in protected waters with light to moderate conditions
• Crew: 18' - 27' boats in open water and more challenging conditions like New York Harbor. Qualify for Atlantic Yachting's Coastal Cruising course.
