Robert Gill grew up around the northern Chesapeake Bay area and has years of sailing and water sports under his belt. In his late teens he started teaching sailing and water-skiing for children at Camp Sandy Hill, Maryland. His love and respect for water led to him managing and instructing YMCA lifeguards through college. For the past five years Robert has served as First Mate on some of New York's finest schooners. He is a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain, a professional photographer, and avid surfer and snowboarder.
